Chansons Françaises take a turn for the left-of-centre with Jerome Sage's first LP.

With layers of organs, electric pianos, and vintage drum machines, topped off by lyrics which are alternately poetry and absurdisms, this record has been described as sounding like "Serge Gainsbourg having a nightmare."
